Mark Manlapaz, known in the industry as “Makoy” started his training career in 2008 as a Senior Communication Skills Specialist for a BPO company based in Manila with emphasis on honing young talents on soft skills, customer service and confidence building.
Makoy ventured into the world of pageantry in 2013 when he co-trained Mutya Johanna Datul who won the Binibining Pilipinas 2013 title and went on to become the first Filipina and Asian to win the Miss Supranational crown in Belarus, Europe. Since then, he has been mentoring beauty pageant contestants and winners in local, national and international beauty derby. Some of them includes: Neil Perez (Mister International 2014), Marisse Mendoza (Miss Campus World 2013), May Myat Noe (Miss Asia Pacific World 2014), Patraporn Wang (Miss Intercontinental 2014), Ploy Wuttayakorn (Miss Tourism Queen International 2014) and the most recent placement of Nepal queens: Manita Devkota (Miss Universe 2018 Top10), Shrinkala Khatiwada (Miss World 2018 Top 12) and Priya Sigdel (Miss Earth 2018 Top 18).
Makoy, along with his TEAM GOULDIAN is also the Events Management Partner (Pageant Director) of Miss Globe Myanmar 2014, Miss International Myanmar in 2017 & 2018, World Miss Tourism Ambassador 2017, Face of Beauty International 2019, Mrs. World Peace 2017, Mister Tourism Globe 2019, Little & Teen GLAM International 2020, Mister Tarlac 2017-2020, Binibining Kanlahi (Tarlac Province) 2020, Mister & Miss Biñan 2019, Binibining Baler 2018 among others.
